Candidates who have obtained at least 50% marks out of the total marks of the examination in the last year of the discipline in which they have graduated (all semesters during the last year of the graduation course if studied in the semester system together) and have passed the examination on the first attempt should be considered. .

For data entry work in English / Gujarati, computer typing must have a minimum speed of 2000 (Hour on key depression) / 15 minutes on WPM word (Speed with Accuracy).

Fixed salary for five years is Rs. 19950 / - and after five years of satisfactory service, considering the space requirement, pay matrix as per pay commission, level-2, 19900 to 63250 / - will be considered.
👉 Age limit :
Candidates in the reserved category for 18 to 20 years and reserved category for women will be given five years relaxation in the upper age limit.
If a woman candidate applies for a reserved class seat, she will be given a five-year exemption and a five-year women's reserve for a total of 10 years.
As per the norms of the Government, there will be a maximum limit of 3 years.
The upper age limit will not be applicable to the employees of Rajkot Municipal Corporation.

Non-reserved and non-reserved women candidates have to pay Rs.500 / - (five hundred) and other category candidates have to pay Rs.250 / - (two hundred and fifty) as examination fee.

As per the provision of Rule-3 (1A) of Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment General Rules-12, a certificate of having basic knowledge of computer application has to be submitted. Resolution No. of the General Administration Department of the Government dated 19/06/2009: CRR 10-2006-19050 - G.P. The syllabus shown in accompanying Form-1 has been declared as Basic Knowledge of Commuter. Candidate should have adequate knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi.

Candidates for admission in the examination are (a) Citizens of India or (b) Citizens of Nepal (c) Citizens of Bhutan or (d) Exiles of Tibet who came to India before 01/01/18 with the intention of permanent residence in India or (f) Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East People from African countries - Kenya, Uganda, Vietnam, Zambia, Malawi, Poison, Ethiopia, United, Republic of Tanzania, Indian people who have migrated to India permanently, but persons from (b) to (f) from the Government of Gujarat Will be eligible for appointment only if certificate is obtained. Candidate for this post should be a native of Gujarat State and domicile of Gujarat State.
👉 Important tips to consider when applying online:
The details filled in the online application form by the candidate will be considered final for the entire recruitment process and the proof will have to be submitted in original (including certified copies) when requested by Rajkot Municipal Corporation.
If there is a change or discrepancy in the details and evidence filled in the online application form during the verification, the candidature will be considered void.

If any candidate makes more than one application for the same post, the power to decide on the cancellation of their application / applications will be vested in Rajkot Municipal Corporation.
• Age, qualification and related matters will be considered valid on the last date of accepting online application.
If the grade is indicated in the marksheet, degree certificate, then the conversion table of the recognized university in its equivalent percentage will have to be submitted.
An employee on duty in Rajkot Municipal Corporation will have to submit the last month's pay slip at the time of verification of original certificates.

• Whether the candidate of the reserved caste of native Gujarat has to apply on the reserved seat or on the non-reserved seat? It should be clearly stated in the online application form and if the candidates of the original caste of Gujarat apply for non-reserved seats, then the applicable rules and regulations applicable to such candidates for non-reserved seats will apply.
Subsequent sub-change of category will not be accepted in the caste (category) indicated by the candidate in the online application.

Note - Resolution No. of Social Justice and Empowerment Department: Subject to the provisions of SASHP / 19013/4 / A, dated 19.05.2030 from 01.09.2018 to 31.03.2018 and dated 01.05. Non Creamy Layer Certificate issued during 2013 to 31.08.2017 will also be considered valid, but with the certificate issued during this period, the candidate will be eligible for his "Non Creamy Layer Certificate" (Non Creamy Layer Certificate). Notes : Eligibility Certificates for the Economically Weaker Classes (EWS) will be considered valid for three years from the date of enactment as per the provisions of Resolution No .: EWS / 19010/35402 / A, dated 8.06.2040 of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment. However, the candidate has not increased his family income to avail the extended period of EWS Certificate issued from 5.01.2018 to 19.03.2018 and is eligible as per the eligibility criteria set for the purpose of reserve by the State Government. Must be given in the prescribed form from the appendix with the resolution.
• When Rajkot Municipal Corporation requests EWS certificate, the candidate has to submit this guarantee along with the certificate. The benefit of reserve for misuse of this provision is void and the candidate is liable for legal action.
Candidates are asked to study all the provisions of the said resolution before availing the extended period.
From 8.01.2018 to 19.03.2018, guarantee has to be given regarding the extended period of EWS certificate issued.
• If a woman candidate wants to apply in the name of her husband instead of her father, she will have to submit a copy of the marriage registration at the time of verification of the original certificates.
• It is mandatory for the candidate to write his / her mobile number in the appropriate place in the online application form, on which a message regarding future recruitment can be given.
